Hello, Omnion
Today we’re opening omnionengine.com, the home of Omnion Engine.
Omnion is an engine for everything you create: 3D and 2D games, apps and tools, music and sound, animation and simulations. It’s built in Rust, on a design where everything is data and every change is an undoable command. That makes it fast, small, and ready to work with AI from day one.
What’s in the editor today
- A familiar editor: dockable panels, workspaces, an Unreal-style viewport with gizmos and snapping, Outliner, Details and a Content Browser with live thumbnails.
- Node graphs for materials, game logic, sound and geometry, plus Rhai scripting with a real code editor.
- Play mode with physics, first and third-person players, triggers and cameras.
- A Timeline, keyframe animation, particles and a game UI designer.
- An audio core with sound graphs that also runs as a CLAP and VST3 plugin.
Read the documentation to see everything it can do.
One account for everything
With a free Omnion ID you can download the engine, sign in to the editor, and join the forum without creating a second account. Turn on two-step verification in Security while you’re there.
What’s next
We’re working on the first public build. After that comes the ecosystem around the engine: an Asset Store for models, materials, sounds and templates; a games portal where you publish from the editor and people play in the browser; and a cloud editor with AI help built in.
Create your Omnion ID and we’ll tell you as soon as the download is ready.
